Will you pray?

“Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving” Colossians 4:2 NKJV

Admit you’ve sinned. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 NKJV. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of god is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23 NKJV

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 NKJV

Confess Christ publicly. “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10 NKJV

“Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom … But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.'” Matthew 9:35-38 NKJV

Pray for 10-19 year-olds and adult youth leaders to be trained in youth evangelism at TTT Saturday, June 13, who could go with Fair Share to Gibson, Warrick, Posey, and Knox, Indiana; Richland, White, Edwards, and Wabash Illinois; and McLean, Kentucky counties, July 6 through August 14, God willing.

Go to one of the Tri-State county fairs and ride a ferris wheel to the top. Look down and see the scattered crowd of mostly 10-19 year-olds.

The TTT Vision: Every youth, before turning 20, to hear the Gospel with an invitation to “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest – truth-telling connectors who will, at a TTT tent displaying a “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” banner, distribute bottles of cold water with the message on each bottle, and share God’s ABCs of salvation with every possible person – especially youth.

Warren W. Wiersbe comments: “Jesus taught and preached. He did not do the work alone, however; He used others to help Him. He requested that His disciples pray that God would provide the needed workers. Soon the disciples themselves would become involved in the ministry of preaching, teaching, and more.”

Introducing the gospel of Luke, Wiersbe wrote: “If ever a man wrote a book filled with good news for everybody, Dr. Luke is that man. His key message is, ‘for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost’ (Luke 19:10). He presents Jesus Christ as the compassionate Son of Man, who came to live among sinners, love them, help them, and die for them.”

In the book of Acts, Luke wrote: … they seized Paul and Silas … and commanded them to be beaten … they threw them into prison, commanding the jailer to keep them securely. Having received such a charge, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks. But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, ‘Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.’ Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. And he brought them out and said, ‘Sirs, what must I do to be saved?’ So they said, ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved …'” Acts 16:19-31 NKJV

In his epistle to the Philippians, Paul wrote: “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:3-6 NKJV

Ask God to give you a compassion for today’s 10-19 year-olds to personally hear and see the Gospel with an invitation to “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.”
