“But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24 NKJV
“For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.” 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 NKJV
Admit you’ve sinned. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 NKJV. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23 NKJV
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 NKJV
Confess Christ publicly. “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10 NKJV
Now it’s your turn. “You may not preach like Peter, you may not pray like Paul, but you can tell the love of Jesus and say He died for all.”
“… present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:1-2 NKJV
Resolve to follow Paul’s example: “For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” Romans 12:3 NKJV
“For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them …” Romans 12:4-6 NKJV
“Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ … that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.” Philippians 1:27 NKJV
As we prayerfully move “Together Toward Tomorrow,” we’re praying for “Truth Telling Connectors” – so that more teenagers, preteens, and adult youth workers can receive evangelism training through TTT, equipped and challenged to share the Gospel with others, inviting them to personally “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.”
You can inform and invite 10-19 year-olds and youth leaders to attend Leading Youth evangelism training at TTT Saturday, June 13. Those participating will be prepared and challenged to present the Gospel this summer with “Fair Share” at county fairs and street festivals – proclaiming the “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” message through bottles of cold water and tent banners, Bibles, God’s ABCs of salvation, and one-on-one sharing.
Teams are currently scheduled to go with the Gospel to fairs and festivals in the following counties, God willing: July 6-10 – Gibson County (Princeton, Indiana). July 13-17 – Warrick County (Boonville, Indiana). July 20-24 – Richland County (Olney, Illinois). July 27-31 – Knox County (Bicknell, Indiana). August 12-14 – Wabash County (Mt Carmel, Illinois).
As more students and adults are willing and available, and receive evangelism training, there are potential open doors to send teams to additional county fairs, including: McLean and Daviess, Kentucky; Dubois, Posey, and Pike, Indiana; Lawrence, White, and Edwards, Illinois.
The prayerful goal: partnering together with local Bible-believing congregations and ministries in each of these counties who will send 10-19 year-olds and adult youth workers to be equipped in peer evangelism June 13, and to present the Gospel through Fair Share – in their own counties and/or other area county fairs and festivals. And we’re praying for leaders from those local Bible-Believing congregations to be ready to follow-up with those who will respond to God’s plan of salvation in their communities.
“…that we may become fellow workers for the truth.” 3 John 1:8 NKJV
Will you resolve to be a truth-telling connector?
