What goals will you set?

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:57-58 NKJV

My major purpose in life is to communicate Christianity. The goal is to use every means and media to tell every possible person to “Admit they have sinned; Believe on Christ; and Confess Him publicly.”

“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 NKJV

In the book, “Capturing a Town for Christ” written about and with Jerry Falwell, Elmer Towns shares the concept of saturation evangelism, using every available means to reach every person in town, in their case, Lynchburg, Virginia, with the Gospel.

“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2 NKJV

As a result of a nationwide survey among teenagers, Josh McDowell concluded: “Many of our youth simply do not understand or accept absolute truth – that is that which is true for all people, for all times, for all places. Absolute truth is truth that is objective, universal and constant.”

Many students in secular schools have never been exposed to absolute truth. And they not only do not know the Ten Commandments, but many have never heard them or seen them.

God supernaturally summoned Moses to the top of Mount Sinai. “Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Write these words, for according to the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.’ So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.” Exodus 34:27-28 NKJV

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23 NKJV

The TTT vision – the God-given goal – Every youth, before turning 20, to hear the Gospel with an invitation to “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.”

About 400,000 youth ages 10-19 live within 100 miles of the intersection of 13000 US Highway 41 North at Boonville New Harmony Road, in 93 Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky counties. At least 3/4 of these teenagers and preteens live in small towns and rural communities.  According to 2022 United States Census Bureau nationwide data, “just under one-half (48.7%) of counties were under 25,000 in total resident population.”

“Small Town Rural America Target: Evangelizing God-given Youth” spells out the “STRATEGY.”

From our very first summer, every year TTT Christian Youth Ministries continues to have a presence at county fairs and street festivals. Throughout 58 years of ministry, fairgoers have heard or seen the answer to the question “What must I do to be saved?“

“Fair Share” teams setup a 10’x10′ tent, visible and attractive to fairgoers. Bottles of ice cold water are made available, each with the message “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.” God’s ABCs are distributed. July and August 2024, TTT has potential open doors to prayerfully take Fair Share to Clay, Edwards, Lawrence, Richland, Saline, Wabash, and White Counties in Illinois; Gibson, Knox, Pike, Posey, Warrick Counties in Indiana; Daviess and McLean Counties in Kentucky; and possibly additional Tri-state counties.

“The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38 NKJV

Peer evangelism and leadership training will be available for students (ages 10-19) and adult youth workers at TTT, from 3 PM through the Saturday night rally March 9, April 13, May 11, and June 8.

The objective: find people in each county who will help connect with pastors, youth leaders, volunteer youth workers, and students to pray about the possibility of working together to reach youth in their counties for Christ.

Jesus said: “Lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!” John 4:35 NKJV

Let’s prayerfully pursue the goal for laborers in His harvest.
