How much faith do you have?

“So Jesus said to them, ‘… if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.'” Matthew 17:20 NKJV

“For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” James 2:26 NKJV

My daughter Tami and I have been praying, along with TTT supporters and volunteers, to inform and invite adults to transport 10-19-year-olds to TTT for “Burger Bash” Saturday, September 7.

“We can make our plans, but the final outcome is in God’s hands.” Proverbs 16:1 Living Bible

“Come now, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit’; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say, ‘If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.'” James 4:13-15 NKJV

Tami surprised me on my birthday last week when she posted on social media: “Happy Birthday, Dad! Thank you for your faithful example, and your continuing passion to communicate the Gospel, especially to teenagers. So grateful for the privilege of serving the Lord together. Keep on keeping on – Christ through you can change the world!”

Receiving phone calls, emails, and greetings from family, former TTT teenagers, and friends from across America and around the world was totally unexpected and delightful. All glory goes to God for what He has done, is doing, and will do.

Never do I want to think too highly of myself. “For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” Romans 12:3 NKJV

My heart has been singing: “To God be the glory, great things He has done! So loved He the world that He gave us His Son, who yielded His life an atonement for sin, and opened the life gate that all may go in. Praise the Lord! Let the earth hear His voice. Praise the Lord! Let the people rejoice. O come to the Father through Jesus the Son, and give Him the glory: great things He has done.”

Only God knows who will attend TTT’s 3,058th consecutive Saturday, September 7.

Know that God does have a divine direction for you. When you “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” personally, you can joyfully sing the Doxology: “Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.”

Pray. Read God’s Word. Grow in His grace in fellowship with other believers in a Bible believing congregation consistently. Share your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, inviting each possible person to believe on Him!

And you’re invited to join us at TTT any Saturday. Doors open at 6 PM and at 7:27 PM every Saturday the rally begins – in person and online.

God willing, October 5 will be “Fall Festival Preview” with free corn dogs.

During the five weeks of Fair Share in July and August, we connected with TTT alumni, met many new friends and hundreds of teenagers. We interacted with over 2,000, giving bottles of cold water and copies of God’s ABCs of salvation. At least 62 youth personally decided to “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” to be saved.

Tragically, while writing this article, news bulletins reported that a 14-year-old shot and killed 2 students and 2 teachers and wounded at least 9 others in a small town. If you are a believer, you are needed to join us in praying and reaching 10-19-year-olds with the Gospel before it’s too late.

From 3 PM through the rally Saturday, September 14, peer evangelism training will be available on the TTT campus for students and adult leaders.

Please let us know how to pray with you, for you, and for those for whom you are concerned. God has a plan for you.

In his book “Discover Your Destiny,” Dave Breese says: “Purpose is the key. It is the key to the rightness or wrongness of any action. It is implicit in any fulfillment the human personality can know. It follows that the success and satisfaction we all desire will elude us until we at least ask the question, ‘What is the purpose of life?’ The difference between things and people is the power of choice.”

Let’s sing together: “Revive us again, fill each heart with Thy love, may each soul be rekindled with fire from above.”

Will you put your faith to work for God’s glory?
