What seeds are you sowing?

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit
will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” Galatians 6:7-8 NKJV

Whatever you sow today you will reap later.

“Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word.” Acts 8:4 NKJV
Warren Wiersbe explains: “Persecution does to the church what wind does to seed: It
scatters believers and produces a greater harvest. The word translated ‘scattered’ means
‘to scatter seed.’ The believers in Jerusalem were God’s seed, and the persecution was
used of God to plant them in new soil so they could bear fruit.”

“Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the
seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.” 2 Corinthians 9:10
NKJV

God has always had a people: those who have admitted they have sinned and have asked
for God’s forgiveness as they made the personal decision to “believe on the Lord Jesus
Christ.” The Bible says, “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in
your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one
believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Romans 10:9-10 NKJV

Warren Wiersbe wrote: “As we sow, we are enriched and we enrich others. The farmer
reaps immediate physical benefits as he works in his field, but he has to wait for the
harvest. The Christian who is motivated by grace reaps the blessings of personal
enrichment in his or her own life and character, and this enrichment benefits others. The
final result is glory to God as others give thanks to Him. Paul was careful to point out that
grace giving does not bring credit to us; it brings thanksgiving to God.”

Haldor Lillenas put together one of the great songs, “Wonderful Grace of Jesus” –
“Wonderful the matchless grace of Jesus, deeper than the mighty rolling sea, higher than
the mountain, sparkling like a fountain, all-sufficient grace for even me. Broader than the
scope of my transgressions, greater far than all my sin and shame, O magnify the precious
name of Jesus, praise His name!”

Lillenas shared insights and “know-how” with young John W. Peterson, who wrote the song
“It Took a Miracle.” The chorus says: “It took a miracle to put the stars in place. It took a
miracle to hang the world in space. But when He saved my soul, cleansed and made me
whole, it took a miracle of love and grace.”

Monday, April 8, people in the Tri-state and across America anticipated and then witnessed the total solar eclipse that had been predicted for decades.

And God used a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, Isaac Newton, through his theory of
universal gravitation, to be able to precisely predict what was going to happen well in
advance, and to verify God’s divine design in creation.

As John W. Peterson wrote, “The Bible tells us of His power and wisdom all way through,
and every little bird and flower are testimonies too.”

Newspaper reports in 1932 predicted the eclipse of 2017, anticipating it would sweep
across the entire United States on a route through Oregon and near Denver, Nashville, and
Wilmington North Carolina, also stating that a total solar eclipse in the United States would
occur in 2024.

Preparations are underway now at TTT Christian Youth Ministries to train teenagers, pre-
teens, and adults to go across the Tri-state, scattering the gospel in county after county
through “Fair Share” during July and August. Bottles of cold water will be presented to
fairgoers along with copies of God’s ABCs of salvation, and hundreds will see banners with
the message: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ … Telling The TRUTH To / Through
Teenagers.”

Leading Youth peer evangelism training days are scheduled for Saturdays April 13, May
11, and June 8 (3 pm through TTT Saturday night). July 13 is to be “JESUS CHRIST Christ
Changin’ the World Summit,” to continue taking the Gospel everywhere – across the tri-
state and beyond – including through daily radio/podcast and TTT every Saturday night
evangelistic youth events (in person and online).

If you have made the personal decision to “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ,” will you
scatter Gospel seeds where you are?
