Are you willing to rededicate your life?

Have you made the personal decision to “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ”?

Who have you invited to A – Admit you’ve sinned; B – Believe on Christ; C – Confess Christ publicly?

“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10 NKJV

After the devastating world-wide flood that wiped out every person on earth except Noah and his family, God said to Noah: “Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth … This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.”

God placed a rainbow as a sign of His mercy.

My long-time friend Thurlow Spurr recorded the song (by Alfred Henry Ackley and Anne Campbell): “There’s a rainbow shining somewhere. There’s a light across the skies. There’s a rainbow shining somewhere, like a gleam from Paradise. Though today the clouds are drifting far across the stormy sea, there’s a rainbow shining somewhere that will someday shine for me.”

In her book “Nothing Is Impossible with God,” Shannon Bream quoted the U.S. Geological Survey’s Water Science School: “Just why do rainbows have colors? … the raindrops refract the light from the sun into a color spectrum … The water drop is acting like a prism, except the light is being refracted at three different points. Each time the light beam bounces, it gets wider, and the rainbow you see is a combination of millions of these light beams coming back to you.” Shannon writes: “The USGS says the brightest, biggest rainbows come from the heaviest rainstorms with the largest raindrops. So the wildest storms give you the clearest, most colorful picture of that covenant! … more covenants to come, including Christ’s sacrifice, which provides us the ultimate in forgiveness and redemption. In days of old, sacrifices were the norm and they were repetitive. In the Old Testament, no one was able to make a sacrifice and find lifelong atonement. There had to be regular offerings …  All of them, including Noah’s offerings on the altar he built, pointed to the day God’s only Son would pay that debt once and for all.”

My daughter Tami consistently photographically illustrates TTT Saturday night Biblical themes.

Teenagers, preteens, and adults attending TTT Saturday, May 16 – in person or online – will be challenged to rededicate our lives individually to the Lord Jesus, continuing telling the Truth to every possible person.

God willing, Sunday, May 17, thousands will assemble on the National Mall in Washington, DC for a celebration of our Christian faith – “Rededicate 250: A National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise, and Thanksgiving.”

One of the speakers is to be Dr. Robert Jeffress, First Baptist Dallas pastor. He and other Christian leaders plan to “boldly proclaim the truth of God‘s Word and call our nation back to Him.”

Jeffress states: “Together, we will celebrate the 250th birthday of America and pray that our nation will rededicate herself to God as individuals rededicate their lives to Jesus Christ.”

Our prayer for this summer’s Fair Share outreach is for more students and adults to receive evangelism training June 13 (3 pm through TTT Saturday night), to rededicate, available as laborers in the Lord’s harvest.

The plan is to go to at least 5 fairs and festivals between July 6 and August 14. As more team members and leaders are prepared, willing, and available, there are potential open doors for up to 8 additional county fairs.

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2 NKJV

The challenge for every believer: dedicate your life to God. Will you? Know: Christ through you can change the world!
