“… God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” 1 John 4:8-10 NKJV
During my senior year in high school, the pastor of Grace Memorial Church, Charles Pedersen, launched “Echoes of Grace” weekly radio broadcast. On the second Saturday, I was asked to sing a vocal solo: “The Love of God.”
“The love of God is greater far than tongue or pen can ever tell. It goes beyond the highest star and reaches to the lowest hell. The guilty pair bowed down with care, God gave His Son to win. His erring child He reconciled, and pardoned from his sin.”
Chorus: “O love of God, how rich and pure, how measureless and strong. It shall forevermore endure, the saints’ and angels’ song.”
“When years of time shall pass away and earthly thrones and kingdoms fall; when men who here refuse to pray on rocks and hills and mountains call; God’s love so sure shall still endure all measureless and strong, redeeming grace to Adam’s race, the saints’ and angels’ song.”
1 John 4:14-16 verifies “The Love of God”: “And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.” 1 John 4:14-16 NKJV
Climax: “Could we with ink the ocean fill, and were the skies of parchment made; were every stalk on earth a quill, and every man a scribe by trade; to write the love of God above would drain the ocean dry; nor could the scroll contain the whole, though stretched from sky to sky.”
The focus for November TTT Christian Youth Ministries Saturday nights is “Give Thanks.”
November 1: Delivered from darkness to love (Colossians 1:12-13) … South of the Border Nacho night. Complimentary nachos will be available to all who attend in person. The “South of the Border” night will be spotlighting Brazil Motorcycle / Motorboat Sunday School Missions, with pictures and reports of what God is doing.
November 8: Abounding in faith in Christ Jesus (Colossians 2:6-7). November 15: Do all in the name of the Lord Jesus (Colossians 3:17). November 22: Watch and pray (Colossians 4:2). November 29: Victory through Jesus (1 Corinthians 15:57).
Each Saturday at TTT, live music complements the scriptural presentation, the Gospel, and a consistent invitation to “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Every Saturday, in addition to those attending TTT in person, many are joining us via livestream and on-demand video from around the world. Recently, Al Roesner, who has been involved since he was a student at Evansville North High School, was connecting with us from a medical mission boat on the Amazon River in Brazil. We are anxiously awaiting Al’s sharing his story, having participated with TTT Saturday nights from more different places so far than anyone else.
If you have participated with TTT anytime during our first 60 years, you are invited to “share your story” – what happened during and following your initial involvement.
You can keep evangelizing youth by inviting every possible person to: A – Admit they’ve sinned; B – Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ; C – Confess Christ publicly.
God willing, let’s “Rendezvous” Saturday, February 7, 2026, coming together at TTT to celebrate God’s continuing blessings, through 60 years and counting as the mission moves forward, “Telling The TRUTH to/through teenagers.”
Your personal involvement can help further TTT’s ongoing vision: “Every youth, before turning 20, to hear the Gospel with an invitation to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.”
“Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.” Colossians 1:12-13 NKJV
Will you?
