Are you renewing day by day?

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.” 2 Corinthians 4:16 NKJV

Every 24 hours, changes come and go. Are you ready constantly?

Life ends for loved ones, family, friends, associates. Are you ready to be renewed by God, even today?

After more than 64 years together, my wife Mary’s life on earth ended. My personal world changed. Graciously, the Lord gave me advance warnings.

Five of us co-founded Youth Evangelism Association – Vic Eliason, Al Metsker, Dick Snavely, Jim Harris, and me. The others have gone to their heavenly reward. I remain involved as co-founder and ambassador at large. In 2003, my daughter Tami was elected President of YEA, and she continues serving today.

“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6 NKJV

In his book about Jeremiah, whom he called “the reluctant prophet,” Warren Wiersbe wrote: “Jeremiah was perhaps 20 years old when God’s call came to him … Jeremiah died an old man, probably in Egypt, and like the grave of Moses, his burial place is a mystery. The brave prophet has long turned to dust, but the words that he wrote are still with us, because God’s Word endures forever.”

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV

When God has a plan to further the Gospel, He gives vision to people who are willing to use every means possible to spread the Good News of the saving power of Jesus.

God makes connections that are of divine design. Paul and Silas went to Philippi and met with Christians meeting by the riverside, led by a lady named Lydia. But soon, Paul and Silas were arrested, thrown into prison, and put in stocks. But rather than sharing their woes with each other, they prayed and sang songs of praise to God. An earthquake came, their chains fell off, but they didn’t try to escape. The Philippian jailer, who was about to end his life because he thought the prisoners were gone, seeing Paul and Silas still there, asked: “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” And they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved …” (Acts 16:30-31).

The Philippian church became vibrant, and God used Paul’s evangelistic fervor to share God’s Good News. The book of Philippians shares some of the most challenging, insightful, and creative scriptures that continue to encourage believers, as they have through all generations, including now!

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV

In his autobiography, Jerry Falwell, founder of Liberty University, said, “God has a vision for you. Don’t settle for second best. Don’t ever retire. Don’t ever quit. Let you vision become an obsessive reality.”

The TTT Vision: Every youth, before turning 20, to hear the Gospel with an invitation to Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

God willing, Saturday, February 7, 2026, TTT will celebrate God’s faithfulness through 60 years and counting. The 7:27 pm “Rendezvous” will include free pizza and more for current, future, and former teenagers.

The continuing mission: Telling The TRUTH to/through teenagers … to win them to Christ and train them for Christ … teaching them how to share their faith through their local churches, on their campuses, throughout their communities, and into their world, wherever God leads them in their future.

February 14, the Saturday following the 60th birthday Rendezvous celebration, Hosanna Highway is to begin, continuing for 10 Saturdays – creatively communicating God’s plan of redemption throughout His Word.

And Leading Youth evangelism training will be available February 14 (beginning at 3 pm) for students and adults, to help prepare participants to communicate the Gospel through the 10 Hosanna Highway Saturdays and summer Fair Share outreach efforts at county fairs and street festivals.

The climactic Saturdays of Hosanna Highway – April 11: Great Commission, and April 18: Gospel Everywhere – will challenge participating youth and adults to “go with the Gospel,” targeting at least 13 communities as God opens doors toward Fair Share and provides connections with Bible-believing congregations in each community.

Read and heed God’s Word every day as you prayerfully continue renewing and inviting every possible person to Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
