In his study Bible, Warren W. Wiersbe explains: “Jesus said, ‘Come.’ The Pharisees all said Do!’ and tried to make the people follow Moses and the traditions. But true salvation is found only in a person, Jesus Christ. To come to Him means to trust Him. This invitation is open to those who are exhausted and burdened down. That is exactly how the people felt under the yoke of pharisaical legalism.”
John wrapped up the New Testament scriptures, saying: “And the Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come!’ And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.” Revelation 22:17 NKJV
“For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.” 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 NKJV
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV
The song “Jesus Paid It All” spells it out implicitly: “Jesus paid it all; all to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain; He washed it white as snow.”

In “Paul and His Team” by Ryan Lokkesmoe, Heather Zempel wrote: “Erastus. Rufus. Gaius. Phoebe. Priscilla. Olympas. Aquila. These names may not mean anything to us, but they meant the world to Paul … in a section we refer to as Romans 16, … [he listed] almost three dozen names … These were the people who had shaped him and formed him, people who had invested in him, people who had taken a risk on him, people who had been crazy enough to join him. The list included the people who had learned from him, stepped up to continue the legacy he had passed to them, and committed to making disciples of the next generation … Paul is credited with starting churches in Philippi, Corinth, and Crete, but they would not have thrived without the leadership of people like Lydia, Aquila, Priscilla, Erastus, Epaphroditus, Timothy, Titus, and an unnamed Philippian jailer.”
TTT’s vision: Every youth, before turning 20, to hear the Gospel with an invitation to “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Answering the question the Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas – “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” – they said: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.” (Acts 16:30-31)
“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:18 NKJV
Truth telling connectors consistently share God’s ABCs of salvation: A – Admit you’ve sinned. B – Believe on Christ. C – Confess Christ publicly.
Preparations are underway for TTT’s food booth intensive outreach effort at the Evansville West Side Nut Club Fall Festival, to be October 4-11. Praying especially for needed volunteers to commit to serve together. For many years, TTT has been participating with a food booth, connecting with many alumni and others, helping raise much-needed funds for the ongoing ministries of TTT. The “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” message is proclaimed through banners, custom imprinted napkins, and more.
“See You At The Pole” Global Day of Student Prayer is to be Wednesday, September 23, on school campuses and other locations across the nation and worldwide.
Praying for connections with concerned believers, that many more teenagers, preteens, and adult youth workers can receive evangelism training through TTT, being equipped and challenged to share the Gospel with others. Leading Youth evangelism training is to be Saturday, November 14, God willing.
TTT Christian Youth Ministries uses multiple means and media, including “roadside missionary” billboards along US 41 and other busy highways; Telling The TRUTH radio, aired twice daily on the VCY America network reaching listeners in 25 states, on WSJD Mt. Carmel, Illinois, and via podcast; TTT Saturday nights happen at 7:27 (Central) every week for youth and adults – in person at the TTT Christian communication center (13000 US Highway 41 N. at Boonville New Harmony Road, Evansville, Indiana 47725) and online on TTT’s Facebook page / TTTChristianYouth.org; Fair Share and other evangelistic youth efforts; “Together” weekly newspaper editorials/blog; internet and social media; God’s ABCs and other printed/digital resources; and one-on-one sharing.
