“For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.” 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 NKJV
The death of the Lord Jesus Christ changed everything for everyone forever.
“For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.” 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 NKJV
When I was eight years old, my Dad constructed and painted a mural to hang behind the pulpit area of the local church we attended. The message “CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS” encompassed a glass cross. When the house lights were dimmed, the sign was lighted, and the neon cross in the center turned bright red, graphically depicting the shed blood of Christ.
Later, our first roadside missionary, an exact reproduction of that mural, was placed just south of Terre Haute, Indiana alongside US Highway 41.
It remained there for several years, and I was privileged to see it multiple times on trips to and from Terre Haute.
“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?” Romans 6:1-2 NKJV
Follow God’s ABCs of salvation:
A – Admit you’ve sinned. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23 NKJV). “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23 NKJV).
B – Believe on Christ. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 NKJV).
C – Confess Christ publicly. “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10 NKJV).
As TTT team members traveled to nine Tri-state county fairs and street festivals during July and August, we gave away over 2,000 bottles of cold water and copies of God’s ABCs of salvation. It was surprising that several of the youth we encountered had never heard the most often-quoted New Testament scripture before we shared it with them at the fairs – John 3:16 – but when they heard it, 102 responded to the message and made the personal decision to “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.” Every bottle of water, every copy of God’s ABCs, and banners and signs on each TTT tent displayed a reproduction of the billboard with that message.
Continuing to use every means and media, even our napkins proclaim the truth: “God so loved the world… Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” above the TTT triangle logo and website.
“KEY” people – Keep Evangelizing Youth – are going through every possible open door for the Gospel.
God willing, TTT will be celebrating 60 years and counting February 7, 2026.

Commenting on 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 – “the love of Christ compels us” – Warren Wiersbe writes: “He died that we might live. This is the positive aspect of our identification with Christ: We not only died with Him, but we also were raised with Him that we might ‘walk in newness of life’ (Romans 6:4). Because we have died with Christ, we can overcome sin; and because we live with Christ, we can bear fruit for God’s glory (Romans 7:4).”
Will you share the love of Christ?
